Why are we called hi-fi? It’s short for High-Fidelity.Our culture isn’t too big on commitment. Whether it’s friends, cities, jobs, schools marriages, families, or even religion, people seem to want to try things out and float from one thing to another. We choose Fidelity, and High levels of it.
Fidelity is an old fashioned word for faithfulness. It means faithfulness in heart, mind, spirit and action. We believe in faithfulness in an unfaithful world. Commitment in a world of cheap grace. Why? Because we have a faithful God. When we weren’t faithful, He was. His faithfulness led Him to the cross.
Now, He is calling us to faithfulness. Out of love for Him, we will strive for High-Fidelity. We won’t always succeed, but by His grace, we will in the long run.
